Leah Brash, C.P.A., has joined Marshfield Clinic Health System’s Board of Directors, beginning in that role in Spring 2018.
The Colorado native, a proven business leader with experience in health care and finance, has helped companies succeed through strategic financial management, operations optimization, strategic planning and collaboration.
Brash earned an undergraduate degree in business and master’s degree in accounting, both from the University of Colorado.
She served as Chief Financial Officer for Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), a national health care association providing health care executives insights and resources to efficiently and effectively run their organizations and improve patient services. While at MGMA, she saw the need and opportunity for change in tradition-bound health care organizations and later served as MGMA’s Chief Innovation Officer.
Through her work with Prime Health as Chief Development Officer, she engaged with digital health startups that are creating leading-edge health care solutions.
Leveraging her experience and national network, she now is Chief Operating Officer for Firepoint Studios, a company committed to solving the toughest health care problems by connecting industry executives with innovators so together they create health care’s future today.
She also consults with startups, is a partner with VIM Executive Coaching and volunteers for organizations dedicated to improving health care and driving innovation, including HealthTeamWorks and 10.10.10.
