Dianna Arnott
Oncology Manager
Center: Minocqua and James Beck Cancer Center, Rhinelander
Years at Marshfield Clinic: 13
Dianna Arnott currently manages two Marshfield Clinic locations providing cancer care in the Northwoods. She splits her time between the Minocqua Center and the James Beck Cancer Center in Rhinelander.
As a manager, Arnott focuses on the care that patients receive daily, as well as broader Marshfield Clinic initiatives. These include efforts to constantly improve the patient experience and reduce costs to provide value-based care.
Arnott is a natural leader who believes the power of persuasion comes from peoples' own ability to express their passion and belief in what they're doing.
"Supporting others in a time of need has always been a passion of mine. I share with others how they can make a difference by getting involved," she said.
She has given to "Project Shine," the annual employee giving appeal, and has helped raise funds to support patients in need. Proceeds from the "Ladies Night Out" bowling event in February, which she helped organize, allowed her to purchase televisions for patients to watch while getting their treatments in Rhinelander. She was also able to put together comfort packs that contain items for patients going through treatment.
"Our communities are important," she said. "I have learned so much about all of the programs and support our small communities have to offer. It's amazing how so many people are willing to give their time, money or talents to support their neighbors."
She has been active with the Northwoods United Way and is currently president.
Arnott has a degree in business administration from Ashworth University in Georgia. She started with Marshfield Clinic as a gastroenterology technician and then progressed through stints as team leader and assistant manager before assuming her current position.
She and her husband, Dave, recently celebrated their 23rd wedding anniversary and have one son. She enjoys kayaking, four-wheeling, camping, spending time with her extended family and her chocolate lab, Bear.
