Although it is in its first year of existence, Marshfield Clinic's new annual giving society, the Circle of Friends, already has 250 members whose support each year provides the foundation for the valuable programs and services the Clinic offers.
A design rendering shows the new wall in the Marshfield Clinic lobby that will recognize all Circle of Friends donors.
Circle of Friends members include all individuals and organizations whose cumulative gifts total $1,000 or more in a given calendar year. This elite group of donors represents leaders whose dedication to our mission is unparalleled year after year.
"Circle of Friends was created to recognize our most generous donors annually and encourage people to make Marshfield Clinic a philanthropic priority each year," said Rikki Starich, annual giving officer.
Circle of Friends recognizes outright gifts, cash, stocks, cash sponsorships and pledge payments made within the calendar year, and the tax-deductible portion of charitable gift annuities. For donors whose cumulative annual giving equals $1,000 or more, the Clinic recognizes four levels within Circle of Friends:
-
Promise Circle – $10,000 or more
-
Compassion Circle – $5,000-$9,999
-
Healing Circle – $2,500-$4,999
-
Hope Circle – $1,000-$2,499
If you would like to be recognized as an inaugural Circle of Friends member, there's still time. Gifts must be received before December 31, 2013 to be included in this year's giving society. For more information, visit
