A Message from the Psychology Fellowship Director
Thank you for exploring our Post-Doctoral Psychology Fellowships. September 1, 2021 is the start date for our next fellows. Marshfield Clinic and Marshfield Medical Center is a unique training environment where fellows benefit from learning in a large tertiary care medical center (one of the largest non-profit medical centers in the U.S.) with a clear sense of community that is supportive to both patients and staff. You will benefit from your training here, but you will soon recognize that your activities also benefit the patients and families you care for as part of the medical center’s mission for exemplary patient care, education and research. We have two post-doctoral positions: a Pediatric Psychology Fellowship and a Child/Adolescent Psychology Fellowship. Each fellowship is 1-2 years in duration. Whether you wish to do a one-year fellowship or stay for the additional career trajectory benefits of a second year, that decision is open to you and we will support what you decide as you settle in and see the options and benefits. Our program evolved from a traditional one-year format to the current two-year model based on our finding that a two-year fellowship had significant benefits for career acceleration for our graduates.
