If you are selected for an interview, you will be notified via email, usually by the end of October. Additional details regarding virtual interviews and virtual tours will be provided to applicants who are selected to interview.

We accept applications for the Pediatric Residency only through the
Electronic Residency Application Service (ERAS). Please contact your medical school for assistance with filing this electronic application.
International graduates are advised to contact the
Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG) for assistance.
Our Pediatrics Residency Program has the following application criteria:

USMLE I and II scores of at least 210 OR COMLEX I and II scores of at least 500 (if you failed a step more than once, your application cannot be considered).

Medical school graduation not more than five years prior to residency start date.

Minimum of two letters of recommendation.

International graduates requiring a VISA must submit scores for USMLE Steps I, II and III prior to consideration of their application.

International graduates need clinical experience in the U.S. along with at least two letters of recommendation from U.S. licensed physicians.
Applications meeting the above criteria will be reviewed, and approximately 75 candidates will be selected for an interview: we will notify candidates of their status via ERAS e-mail before the end of October if an applicant has been selected for an interview. (Due to the large volume of applicants, we can only answer phone calls and emails from candidates who have been invited to interview.) We typically interview on Mondays and Fridays -- with occasional modifications -- from November to early January.
