 Medical Student Opportunities

​​​Medical students have opportunities within the Marshfield Clinic System to utilize state-of-the-art electronic medical records, see multiple types of patients and interact with many different styles of practice.

Fourth year medical students from all over the United States are able to apply for elective opportunities that may take place at more than 50 locations throughout our system.

Junior medical students from University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health are able to participate in clerkship rotations ​​in Eau Claire, Marshfield, Minocqua, Rice Lake and Wausau.

Since 2009, Marshfield Clinic has been a host site for the Wisconsin Academy for Rural Medicine (WARM) for the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine and Public Health third and fourth year medical students.

From the Northwoods to the Chippewa Valley to Central Wisconsin, Marshfield Clinic offers a myriad of learning opportunities for students.
