Dr. Nicholas Bodmer joined Marshfield Clinic Health System in 2015. As a board certified radiologist, he specializes in imaging interpretation and minimally invasive procedures to diagnose disease.

"People are often in the midst of very difficult times in their lives when I see them," he said. "My goal is to make their radiology procedures as easy and painless as possible.  The biggest compliment I can receive after a procedure is 'that was it?'"

Dr. Bodmer joined Marshfield Clinic to practice medicine in a small town while still maintaining the standard of specialty care found in urban areas.  He says he is passionate about his job and he strives to provide the highest quality radiology service to his patients and colleagues.

He completed his radiology education at University of Washington-Seattle.  He received his medical degree from the University of Illinois-Chicago, and completed a fellowship at the University of Chicago-NorthShore.

"My family and I live in Minocqua. I like this area because I enjoy playing hockey, tennis, snow skiing and snowshoeing, which are all available here. I also enjoy playing the piano," said Dr. Bodmer.
