Cardiologist Dr. John Hayes concentrates his cardiology practice on diagnosing and treating patients with heart rhythm disturbances.

He
 came to Marshfield Clinic Health System in 1991, attracted by its 
high-quality practice, the community’s family-oriented environment and 
positive feedback from patients who had been referred to Mayo Clinic 
during his residency there.
Dr. Hayes earned his medical 
degree at Rush University Medical Center-Rush Medical College, Chicago. 
He completed his residency in internal medicine at the Mayo School of 
Graduate Medical Education, Rochester, Minnesota; and a fellowship in 
cardiology and electrophysiology at the University of Washington, 
Seattle.
Dr. Hayes is board certified in internal medicine, 
cardiovascular disease and clinical cardiac electrophysiology, and is a 
fellow of the American College of Cardiology and the Heart Rhythm 
Society.
He and his wife have three children. He enjoys fitness activities such as running, bicycling and basketball.
