Dr. Thomas Gabert joined Marshfield Clinic Minocqua Center’s Internal Medicine in 1992. He specializes in providing high-quality care of acute and chronic problems for adult and geriatric patients.

His practice includes disease prevention, diagnostic and treatment services. While Dr. Gabert is skilled at general internal medicine, he holds an advanced certification in geriatrics.

Dr. Gabert received his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine in Madison. He completed his internship and residency at the former Marshfield Clinic and St. Joseph’s Hospital in Marshfield. He is certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine and Geriatrics and is licensed to practice in Wisconsin and Michigan.

Dr. Gabert also holds a masters in Public Health from the Medical College of Wisconsin in Milwaukee.

He is a Wisconsin native and is proud to be a part of the Northwoods community both on a professional and personal level. He says Marshfield Clinic allows him to practice state-of-the-art medicine with world class partners and the latest electronic medical technology.

Dr. Gabert, his wife and three children enjoy taking their dogs for walks in the state forest lands as well as kayaking on the many lakes and rivers in the area. He and his wife are deeply committed to the ongoing improvement of local education.
