Provider Bio down arrow

As an oral and maxillofacial surgeon, Dr. Steven Evelhoch treats diseases, injuries and defects in the hard and soft tissues of the head, neck, face and jaw. This includes performing cosmetic surgery to improve the appearance of these areas.

Dr. Evelhoch served in the Navy and had two deployments where he provided surgical care.

“Serving other people is the best thing you can do in life,” said Dr. Evelhoch. “Many members of my family served during WWII, so serving in the Navy was very important to me.”

He uses this servant attitude to provide the best experience possible for his patients. Dr. Evelhoch enjoys working with people of all ages.

“I think that patients need to be able to make decisions in their care and we need to guide them in those decisions,” he said. “I want to have a good relationship with my patients.”

Dr. Evelhoch performs orthognathic jaw surgery, cosmetic, reconstructive and trauma surgeries as well.

He is triple board-certified in oral and maxillofacial surgery, cosmetic surgery and microvascular surgery and head and neck oncology. Dr. Evelhoch is also a member of the American College of Surgeons.

Dr. Evelhoch completed two fellowships at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor and at the Institute of Facial and Cosmetic Surgery in Salt Lake City, Utah in Full Body Cosmetic Surgery, Head and Neck Oncology and Microvascular Surgery. He also holds both a medical degree and doctor of dental surgery degree from Creighton University, and an MBA from the University of Wisconsin-Madison and Master’s in Healthcare Management from Vanderbilt University in Nashville, Tennessee.

Dr. Evelhoch enjoys spending time outdoors including skiing, cycling, sculpting, rockclimbing, fishing, trail running, mountain biking and playing musical instruments. He also enjoys spending time with his family and golden retrievers.
