As an orthopedic surgeon, Dr. Mark D. Earll does primary partial and total joint replacements, revision joint replacements, hip resurfacing, and knee arthroscopy.
“I like helping people get back on their feet.” He explains, “Somebody with crippling arthritis can be walking and functioning better in a very short time.” He also helps people who’ve had fractures or musculoskeletal trauma.
Dr. Earll is active in medical research to improve quality outcomes for all joint replacement patients. They’re measuring long-term results for various types of implants. “It’s a quality control project,” explains Dr. Earll. He is also active in reviewing articles for publication for the Journal of Arthroplasty.
Originally from Marshfield, Dr. Earll is excited to practice at Marshfield Clinic. He and his wife, a pediatrician, have two children. Dr. Earll enjoys cross country skiing and golf.
Dr. Earll is board certified in orthopedic surgery. He earned his medical degree from the University of Wisconsin School of Medicine & Public Health in Madison. He completed his residency in orthopedics at the Medical College of Virginia – School of Medicine in Richmond. Dr. Earll was fellowship trained in total joint replacement surgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina.
