Visiting hours
We have an open visiting policy for family members – anyone the patient regards as family. However, patient care and adequate patient rest are important.
To enhance quality of care, each unit has specific visiting hours. Check at the nurses’ station on each unit for visiting hours.
General visitor guidelines
Smoking or using electronic cigarettes or smokeless tobacco products is not allowed on our campus.
We ask that visitors use sanitizer or soap and water before entering a patient's room and when leaving.
As a visitor, you may be asked to leave the room during tests, treatments or when the care team is seeing the patient.

Patient and visitor parking is available 24/7 in Lots 1, 2, 9 and 12.

The hospital's cafeteria is located on ground floor, north.
- Monday-Friday: 6 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
- Saturday-Sunday: 7 a.m. – 2 p.m.
You may also use the Marshfield Clinic cafeteria located on ground floor.
- Monday-Friday: 6:30 a.m. – 2 p.m.
Eau Claire
Valley Bistro, our café, is located on Level 1. “Grab and go” items are available.
- Open daily from 6:30 a.m. – 6:30 p.m.
Ladysmith
Our café, is located on Level 1. “Grab and go” items are available.
- Open Monday-Friday: 8 a.m. – 3 p.m.
Vending machines

Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located near the hospital café on the ground floor.
Eau Claire
Vending machines for snacks and beverages are located near the Emergency Department waiting room on Level 1.
Other policies
Cellphone use is allowed on the medial campus. However, we do ask you to be considerate when using them.
Weapons and firearms are prohibited from all Marshfield Clinic Health System locations.
