Dr. Barbara Coulter-Smith
has joined Marshfield Clinic Minocqua and Rhinelander center’s OB/GYN.
Dr. Coulter-Smith completed her OB/GYN residency at the University of Missouri-Kansas City School of Medicine after achieving her medical degree from Des Moines General Hospital in Des Moines, Iowa. She also completed her doctorate through the University of Osteopathic Medicine and Health Sciences, College of Osteopathic Medicine and Surgery in Des Moines, Iowa.
Coulter-Smith has special interests in normal and high risk obstetrics, minimally invasive surgery, office gynecologic surgery and DaVinci robotic surgery. She has additional training in single site surgery and completed the Master's Robotics Course.
"I grew up in Iowa and have been living and practicing in Texas for 21 years," said Dr. Coulter-Smith. "I've been married for over 30 years, and we have two children. Our daughter is currently a student at Iowa State University in the Veterinary Medicine Program and our son is a student at Oklahoma State University."
