Patients in the Menomonie area are now able to get rehabilitation services at
Marshfield Clinic Menomonie Center Physical Therapy.
Physical therapists began seeing patients Monday, July 11, at 3603 Schneider Ave.
This outpatient physical therapy center provides services including post-operative therapy, joint and muscle pain care, general orthopedic care, spine care, vestibular and vertigo care, workman's compensation injury care, wheelchair/functional mobility evaluations, dry needling services, balance care and fall prevention services.
Physical Therapist Sara Spelbring staffs this location after working at Marshfield Clinic Chippewa Falls Center since May 2013. She has worked in the Chippewa Valley since graduating from the University of Wisconsin-Madison in 2012.
Spelbring has completed additional competency certification programs with an emphasis on vestibular rehabilitation. She also enjoys working with older adults in the Clinic and community through balance and falls prevention programs and she looks forward to becoming active with local community groups to extend her practice outside Center walls.
"I enjoy the variety of patients and conditions I come in contact with during my day-to-day patient care," Spelbring said. "I look forward to providing accessible and local physical therapy services to Menomonie and surrounding rural areas."
Cathy Todd will provide support service for the department. She has been a Clinic employee for over 10 years within Rehabilitation Services.
"Both of these individuals are a great fit for Menomonie as they focus on caring for each patient, but also on serving the community." said Randall Roseen, assistant manager, Rehabilitation Services.
Marshfield Clinic provides patient care, research and education with more than 50 locations in northern, central and western Wisconsin, making it one of the largest comprehensive medical systems in the United States.
