Culture & Agriculture Juried Exhibit 2020

Artist Prospectus Information

ELIGIBILITY

Culture & Agriculture is open to all artists over the age of 18, working in both two and three dimensional media, who create art that in some way draws its inspiration from agricultural heritage and/or contemporary agriculture. That inspiration may include (but is not limited to) depictions of rural landscape, farm animals, farm products, rural life, or art that in a more abstract way deals with issues and ideas related to agriculture.

Artists working in media such as painting, drawing, sculpture, printmaking, mixed media, fine crafts (such as ceramics or glass), batik, metals, fiber, photography, etc. are all encouraged to enter. All styles of work are considered. Works shown in previous exhibits at New Visions Gallery will not be accepted.

ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

Selection will be made from digital images. Artists should submit images and information for the actual work they propose to exhibit by the due date via the online Artist Entry Form. There is no entry fee.

SALES

Work need not be for sale to be eligible for the exhibit. The gallery will make every effort to encourage the sale of work available for purchase and will retain a 35% commission of sales made as a result of the exhibit.

JURORS

Works for the exhibition will be selected by a panel of jurors. Decision of the group regarding acceptance into the exhibit is final.
