Ladysmith Dental Center serves all patients, regardless of ability to pay or insurance status (uninsured/underinsured, private pay, commercial insurance and Forward Health).
A dental payment assistance program is available to help patients that have limited income and have out-of-pocket dental expenses.
The dental payment assistance program is available for services provided at the dental center, and it helps with the Forward Health approved services. For more information about this program, please talk with Patient Financial Services staff at any dental center.
The 8,840-square-foot, dental facility in downtown Ladysmith includes 17 operatory rooms; a dental lab; sterilization rooms; consultation rooms; digital X-rays; panoramic X-ray equipment and photo labs; business office; and reception and patient waiting area.
Ladysmith Dental Center was established November 1, 2002 when Family Health Center of Marshfield, Inc. acquired the Ladysmith dental practice of Blane Christman, D.D.S. and Associates.
The center was made possible through a partnership between these entities as well as the State Department of Health and Family Services and federal and state agencies.
Ladysmith Dental Center is accredited by The Joint Commission.
Ladysmith Community
Ladysmith is a contemporary community of 4,500 located on the scenic and recreational Flambeau River in Rusk County. Adjacent communities bring the area's population to about 6,000. The wood and paper industry employs much of the workforce with a variety of tourist industries adding additional income.
Ladysmith provides its residents top quality education. Located in the Ladysmith-Hawkins School District are three schools. The University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire, one of the largest extensions of the University of Wisconsin, is located just 50 miles south.
Recreationally, Ladysmith serves as a gateway to Indianhead Country - an area known for its fishing, hunting, canoeing, snowmobiling, and other outdoor fun. Christie Mountain provides downhill skiing within minutes of Ladysmith.
Culturally, Ladysmith offers the Flambeau Valley Arts Association that brings music, drama, and dance groups to the area.
