The Emeritus Program at Marshfield Clinic Health System encourages a positive connection between the Clinic and emeritus physicians, Ph.Ds and senior level administrators by offering volunteer possibilities, educational opportunities, connections with colleagues, patient care initiatives and social events.
Bromberg Cultural Arts Center Reading Room
The Bromberg Cultural Arts Reading Room is located in George Magnin Medical Library. This room is open to staff, emeriti and the public daily from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and offers a comfortable and convenient meeting area as well as computer access. If you are here for Grand Rounds, meetings, appointments or just to visit, please feel welcome to use this room.

Simulation Lab
The Simulation Laboratory (Sim Lab) provides learning opportunities in patient care for all employees throughout Marshfield Clinic Health System. Emeritus physicians who are interested in simulation experience are welcomed to contact

Grand Rounds
Emeritus physicians are invited to attend Marshfield Clinic's Grand Rounds activities. These are held Fridays at noon in the Froehlke auditorium. Once the physician is no longer under special contract, the Division of Education will add them to the email distribution announcing the upcoming topic. Lunch is provided.
Regularly Scheduled Series (RSS)
Depending on the specialty, emeritus physicians may continue to attend their department's RSS, such as tumor conference, pediatric grand rounds, etc.
Extramural Conferences
All emeritus physicians are invited to attend Marshfield Clinic's educational conferences as indicated in the Emeritus Physician Participating in Marshfield Clinic Sponsored Continuing Medical Education Activities Policy. Emeritus physicians who elect to register for a MCHS sponsored CME activity will be charged one half the Marshfield Clinic physician rate.

Event Ambassador
No one knows the history of the Clinic like our Emeriti. It is important to pass along this knowledge and history to our community. Emeriti are invited to serve as MC Ambassadors at special events, celebrations, donor receptions, dedications, ribbon cuttings, etc.
Community Relations
Emeriti are encouraged to act as Marshfield Clinic Representatives in community organizations and volunteer at Community events such as Farm Technology Days (ex: assist with skin cancer screenings).
Clinic Tours
Periodically there are individuals and groups who want to tour Marshfield Clinic. Emeriti can provide expertise and history of the Clinic to groups that wish to tour the entire facility, MCRI, NFMC or other specific locations.
